We spent time in Custer State Park, SLOWLY driving through a big meadow full of bison. They claim it is the second-largest bison herd in America. They are mighty beasts and a bit scary, but we watched the Park Rangers chase them across the road when they held up traffic. It took us more than an hour to drive a couple of miles, as the lookie-lou’s were taking they time taking photos. I did it the easy way – we opened the sunroof on the car, and I stood in the passenger seat and took photos! People thought that was a bit weird!
